We have published the “Seven Principles for Patient Organizations” regarding participation in academic conferences and booth exhibitions.
These seven principles were developed in consultation with patient organizations in the fields of cancer and rare/intractable diseases.
We would like to express our gratitude to Ms. Naomi Sakurai (Cancer Solutions Co., Ltd./National Federation of Cancer Patient Organizations) for providing insights into cancer, as well as to the members of the CMT Friends Association and to Ms. Noriko Kishi, whose efforts prompted the creation of this document.
