The Rare Diseases Group prepared this report established within APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) and adopted it at the APEC CEO Summit in 2018. It is mainly used in countries and regions that lack legal systems for rare diseases, and workshops have been held around this plan. The plan provides an overview of 10 essential items to address common issues in the rare disease area and is easy to understand for the Japanese audience.
