As part of the Hokkaido Rare Disease Medical Provision System Development Project, the Rare Disease Medical Center at Hokkaido Medical Center is streaming a lecture to commemorate "NANBYO Day" on May 23. This initiative aims to deepen understanding of rare diseases and strengthen collaboration with the residents of Hokkaido.
This year's theme is "Thinking About and Participating in NANBYO Healthcare Together: Understanding Patient and Public Involvement (PPI)."

"NANBYO Day" is a commemorative day registered by the Japan Patients Association (JPA) to mark the enactment of the "Act on Medical Care for Patients with NANBYO" (NANBYO Act) on May 23, 2014.
