Yukiko Nishimura, President of ASrid participated as a panelist in the Global Patient Advocacy Leadership Summit: Asia Pacific Regional Session.
In this session, Yukiko introduced the current status of rare and incurable diseases in Japan, the research studies conducted by ASrid, and the challenges faced by patients.

Patient Advocacy Leadership Summit: Asia Pacific Sessions

Objectives: The objectives of the session are to:

·       understand how rare diseases impact on patient’s and caregiver’s mental health

·       understand these are manageable and how we can manage it and how we can support each other

·       understand the cultural aspects and these strengthens and developing points

·       enable participants to share experience, challenges, and solutions with others
