In a webinar hosted by the RDD Global/EURORDIS yesterday, we introduced the efforts of RDD in Japan.

The webinar's theme was informing and involving children about rare diseases.

After a keynote speech on childhood cancer, three speakers reported case studies from RDD implementing countries: Japan, Portugal, and Ghana.

In Portugal, there was a report on the production and evaluation of educational materials for children, and in Ghana, there was an introduction of RDD conducted by students.

From Japan, RDD japan staff presented various initiatives, such as introducing RDDs for/with children held throughout the country, RDD high schools where student-led activities are expanding, and this year's concert program.

It was an excellent webinar that brought the world's efforts to Japan and Japan's efforts to the world.
