An application for regulatory approval of a drug for the treatment of distal myopathy was submitted by a company. In conjunction with the application, Yukiko Nishimura attended and spoke at a press conference organized by PADM, a distal myopathy patients' group, as an intermediary in rare and intractable diseases.
